Because these stupid web forums you must actively scan for new messages. A
mailing list for my believe is much more user friendly. You can add rules
(or "assistants") in you mailclient to put all these messages in an ethernut
folder, or scan for interesting keywords.

A bit better would be a newsgroup. But I think only a few people today know
what a newsgroup is. :-(

why don't you just set up a user forum on the website instead of doing all
this bouncing about. i left my inbox for a month and i had about a hundred
of these discussion emails in my inbox
