[En-Nut-Discussion] OS trace

Dear All,
 
Can some one pls. tell me whats the basic difference between OS debug and OS trace. What does Os debug do that os trace does not do and vice versa. Unfortunately my ethernut board will take sometime to be developed and right now I am just trying to understand as much as possible about the NUT OS and the PPP part. 
 
I hope some one would be kind enough to tell me the basic difference between the two.
