Forget Basemon. We should add a big warning in the source code,
that this is very special code, intended to run on broken
Ethernuts.

app/tcps is a good starter. This might be helpful as well

Unfortunately the ADC part is not well documented (hint! hint!).
Check the source code in
  arch/avr/dev/adc.c
and, most important, the ATmega128 datasheet.
