Lars,

Look at the source at91_emac.c, you find it in libnutarch, the function 
emacreset() sets up PHY. You will have to change the ID values they are 
hardwired for the Davicom. PHY. Modes are changed by turning off pull ups on 
IO pins then pulsing reset line. Check the reset for your print sometimes it 
is attached to a PIO pin rather than system reset as it is on EK board. Also 
some PHYs are reset with a active high signal. The PHY should be set for MII 
mode.
