Ok - the problem is solved. I switched off the support for external 
memory and memory banks (under RTOS -> Memory Management). Using the 
4.2.1 version of ethernut, I've got a compile error in the bankmem.o 
module. So I used the latest beta 4.3.3 and it worked.
Right now, I've tried threading and controlling the display (through 
spi) and it is working quite good.
