A similar problem had been recently reported by Richard Karolyi. He 
found out, that UBRR0H hadn't been set correctly when used with 
baudrates below 4800.

He was using Ethernut 1.3 (similar to Webtiger) and Nut/OS 4.2.1.

In a first look I wasn't able to locate the problem, but something seems 
to be broken. Can you please check the GCC version?

avr-gcc.exe --version
