Hi Uwe!

If you go to http://www.es-business.com/ethernut/nutlib/select_funcs.php

and enter libnutarch.a as the filename and TwInit as the function, you will
get a list of Nut/OS releases and various gcc versions used to compile them.

TwInit function size is listed as 146 or 132, depending on compiler version
over a couple of Nut/OS versions.
Seems like there was no change recently (or: the change resulted in the same
object code size).

hth a bit
Ernst

Betreff: [En-Nut-Discussion] No Timeout in TwInit

Hello,

could it be that TwInit has no timeout and loops busy when either SDA or SCL
is static low? Was there a change in this behaviour recently?

I have some AT90CAN128 boards with some not too recent version of Ethernut,
where I observe this behaviour.

Thanks
