Hi!
Yes, I am also having troubles with apps which used to run without problems
when compiled under 4.2.2 or earlier, so I am stepping back, too. I have not
investigated into the "effects" seen.

I'm using linux, not windows. Sorry. But I recently installed accidently
avr-gcc 4.3.0 which seems to be the same version the new winavr suit
uses.
I noticed strange problems when compiling a simple non-NutOS application
and had several strange changes of variables, some reboots and so on.
Compiling the same application with avr-gcc 4.2.2 works like a charm.
So I would say: leave you fingers from avr-gcc 4.3.0 as it seems to
generate broken code!
If anyone can confirm this, please post here! Are there any known
patches?
Regards,
Ole Reinhardt (who downgraded to 4.2.2 again)
