You may have missed my reply. PA23 and PA24 are in fact SDA and SCL resp.

I searched for a useful sensor connector layout quite some time, but 
there are too many variations. Finally I chose the layout used by Atmel 
on the SAM9260/SAM9XE kits. An adapter will be required in any case, but 
I thought it would be a good idea to be able to use the same adapter on 
Atmel boards too.
