[En-Nut-Discussion] Sound playback issue on eir

I am doing a very simple recorder app with eir, because of time  
constrains I decided not try to understand the driver structure and  
just command the vlsi chip directly.

This of course means that I also have to do the playing part manually;  
it was not supposed to be problem but 5 second recording comes out as  
1 second BLEEEERP!

I have tried to fiddle with all kinds of attributes and result is  
either silence or the bleerp.

Can anyone throw a guess about what might be wrong?
