Hi all,

What about "contrib" as the directory or repository name?

Does it really make sense to include such code in the standard Nut/OS
distro? What about setting up an additional separate code repository for
these contributed packages?

If the repository is separate, the requirements of contributed code could be
less stringent. For example it wouldn't have to compile for all compiler
versions or architectures. It also wouldn't need to be maintained to make
sure it compiles with future versions of Nut/OS.
