Why, a fishy gift is logically called poi(s)son in French. ;-)

Another one: 'to get' is 'bekommen' in German. You can easily spot
Germans in a restaurant, when they 'become a Coke'.

On the other hand it is amazing, that 'overlook' and 'übersehen'
(over=über, look=sehen) have the same ambiguity in German and in English.
