Thank you Harald,

It is working now, problem was in the power supply, it was not able to
give 200mA output.

I connected a different power supply with 500mA output current and it is
working superbly now :-)

You did everything correctly. May be you forgot the configure Hyperterm?
Btw. a nasty program. Better try TeraTerm.
