Even if I did not read you full mail, I'd suggest you take a look to the
jquery library and use ajax to request and send your form data as well
as whatever data you want to use. Everything is based on the xml http
requests.

And a cool plugin for jquery to fill in Forms... There exists dozens of
such plugins for cool Java script based web-interfaces.
