[En-Nut-Discussion] PHAT 256 File in root directory

Hello all,

I use a ARM7 board with SD-Card slot and PHAT file system. The SD-Card 
has a capacity of 16Mbytes with this configuration:

Type is FAT12
Bytes per sector: 512
Number of sectors used by the root directory: 32

I know a directory entry needs 32 bytes. If I calculate the maximum 
number of directory entry's  512 * 32 / 32 = 512.

But after 256 files in the root directory it is not possible to create a 
new file.

What's my fault?
