Have you correctly configured your Nut/OS setup according to your
hardware wiring (of your display?)

Please check your setup in the NutOS configurator at

Architecture->AVR->HD44780 Driver

to be sure the right pins where configured for your setup.

If you could give us some details on "what is working" and "what does
not work" and which display (which type, manufacturer) you have
connected to which port pins of your board we might better help you.
