But don't run an unconstraint "make -j" on a big project, like the linux
kernel or the Wine build tree. The system will spawn zillions of task and
slow down to get unusable, with the only sensible option to pull the power
plug.

Maybe with the 2.6.38 process group changes this changed, but I refrain to
test...
