It seems to me that for things like translating articles using an automated
translator
and putting the results into a wiki for knowledgeable people to fix would
work well.
That way people knowledgeable of the subject matter and target language
could
work together to fix it.
(and a quick google search turns up www.wiki-translation.com so this isn't
an entirely new idea)
