sorry for the late answer, again I was two days out of office...

What about the

But I don't know about how the workflow with this board is... (I don't
know about the possibility to use OpenOCD with this on-board JTAG)

Anyway I have not yet added support for the CPU, but it won't differ
much from the LPC1768 which is used on the MBED Board.

Beside my LPC1788 Development board I also have an MBED board, which NXP
gave away for free for some time:
