The whole CRC code looks smelly to me. Obviously not one of my best days
when I wrote that.

Wojciech, you probably selected AT45D_CRC_PAGE in the Configurator. None
of the reference configuration uses this option, that's why it hasn't
been detected in the test builds. If you don't need this option, you can
disable it to make the code compile.
