Nah...I tried to be as careful as possible. :-)
But we didn't finish all tests and some modifications
break the GBA and the AT91EB40A ports. Hopefully the
AVR code isn't touched. When all tests were passed,
I'll pack another pre-release and hope again, that
this will be the last one before Nut/OS Version 4.
Well...may be another 3.9.9 in between. I'd like to
discuss some changes of the directory and file structure
in this list at a later time.
Due to the number of changes I may have missed something.
Please shout at me.
The main step forward is, that the ARM7 successfully queries
DHCP and responds to HTTP request via Ethernet. Blindingly
fast, btw.
The target hardware is not Ethernut 3 but 'Wolf'. It had
been kindly provided by hwgroup and uses an AT91R40008
and the AX88796 Ethernet Controller. It currently works
with armboot (http://armboot.sourceforge.net/), which
is partly GPL and thus not suitable for Nut/OS. If you
are still interested, please contact me directly.
If you don't have CVS, you can download a current snapshot
at
www.egnite.de/cvs
(Anonymous access, sometimes delayed for a few hours)
Or simply look at
http://cvs.sourceforge.net/viewcvs.py/ethernut/nut/ChangeLog?rev=1.190&view=auto
for more details.
Enjoy,
Harald
