[En-Nut-Discussion] ethernut on OS X

Hi Tamas,
sorry that I cannot give you any exact help on your problem. Attached you can
find a routine I wrote which initializes my ethernut board to get an IP
through various methods (first it looks in memory, then waits for DHCP or
finally set it itself it all others failed) and initialize the USART as
output. How to set the BAUD rate and all other necessary options for the
USART communication is documented in the source code. I only attached an
RS232 cable to the RS232 output of the ethernut board and it worked well on
my console and gave me my debugging output via printf(). Maybe it helps you.
But I actually have a question to you in reply: how did you setup the ethernut
development environment (avr-gcc etc.) in OS X? Can you maybe post a short
description on the steps you took and which USB->serial converter you are
using (if any)? I would like to start developing unser OS X too but haven't
gotten it to work yet.
