[En-Nut-Discussion] DHCP

Hello everybody,

for a few years now, im using a bunch of ethernut 1.3g/h for a small
data-aquisition application. Everything worked just fine. But now for
security reasons they made the use of DHCP mandatory in our network. I
updated my program accordingly and found that the lease I got is not
renewed. After 8hrs the ethernuts are not responding anymore and I have
to restart them. There is no hardcoded IP-address in the eeprom and I
tried several example codes to no avail.
Also I checked the discussion arcives and applied suggested patches but
it still fails.

I get the following lease data:

RenewalTime: 30000
RebindTime: 52500
LeaseTime: 60000

from 2 different ServerIDs, so there seems to be a secondary server in
the net.
Is anybody out there using DHCP with NutOS successfully?
Im using Nut/OS 4.8.9.0.

Best regards

Michael
